Nice but small
By DRS
This is a nice jacket but you need to order a size bigger than what you usually use. I ordered large thinking it would be fine but it fits like a medium. I should have gotten an extra large.

Good leather, not so good snaps.
By soak
Overall this is a good welding jacket. Biggest flaw are the button snaps. They tend to pull out of the leather. This then requires repair. I contacted Hobart customer support and they simply offered to send me a new jacket. They even said they didn't want the old one back. So excellent customer service. However, the new jacket I got eventually did have some snaps pull out. As a result I would probably not buy another one of these jackets. And would instead just get a heavy cotton flame retardant welding shirt instead.

very satisfied
By Suzanne
i ordered this jacket for my son who is taking welding in school... he came home saying the other students said they paid $100 at a store that was suggested from the teacher. this is the same jacket for a great price... $50... much better than the other price. i am so glad we looked on amazon. i read the review saying to order a bigger size than usual, so we did, and it fits perfect! (i wrote this review during my sons 1st year of welding at school. i would like to add the update that he is in his second year now and the jacket is holding up perfectly)
