Minimal solution for portable welding.

It is, what it is. For the price, it is nothing more than a metal folding table, with a stamped steel zinc plated top (cannot rely on it for flatness). Beats welding on a wooden table, as you can ground the table and not wind up with a pile of ashes. Also, fairly lightweight, and there for a good solution for carrying to remote sites. I prefer the miller version, which is a little more heavy duty, and better suited for shops with limited space, as it is a real 3/16" plate steel top. In addition to the folding model (2x the cost of this one), the Millers come in stationary/casters models, with varying options. For lightweight duty this one is fine though.

Portable welding table

I learned about this portable welding table on weldingtipsandtricks.com. Excellent quality, fantastic value (almost 1/3 the cost of the equivalent Miller portable table). Excellent design and even came with some basic clamps and tools. Has adjustable gates on 2 sides for accurate 90 degree fitups. Folds up for storage and I received it from the vendor 4 days ahead of the delivery estimate. It can be combined with a second table and an extension to provide over a 7' table. Stronghand makes excellent tables, in general, and if I had the resources, I would purchase the pro model in a heartbeat.

This table is nice that it is foldable,however I wish that there was a locking mechanisim to keep the legs stable for storage.Bungee cords work but are inconvenient.
