Very nice hose, but the curved handle is a bad idea.

If you are sweeping up anything that tends to clump, like aluminum shavings from a mini-lathe, they will bird nest right where the hose connects to the curved handle. For general sweeping it is fine. But I can't use it for the shavings, which I used to sweep up easily with my previous hose of the same dimensions. It had a more straight handle end.

The hose you've dreamed of for your shopvac!

Handle fell off, 1st time used. Impossible to properly thread back on (about 5 hrs of trying) because you need to keep the end of the hose expanded while threading it in and very carefully twisting it in the threads of the handle --oops! almost! - oops just about there - oops ... guarantee this was originally assembled by machine... oh, there's sticky adhesive in hole as well to deal with ... resorted to jamming in hole and duct taping. wtf... you wouldn't quite guess they made these for a living.
On the plus side - the hose itself is heavy duty, very flexible and collapses back nicely.

Great replacement hose

This replacement hose works great and it fits my needs even better than the original one that came with the vacuum as it is longer & more flexible.
