These filters allow the shop vac to be used for dry vacuuming of dust, etc. Really can't use it without them. They perform as expected.

Exactly What I ordered

Is an original part for Shop-Vac wet/dry vacs, so I didn't have problems.
It comes with plastic ring although is not necessary because is a part that normally last for years.
