3Not a Wet Vac!
By John F. Wright
This should not be advertised as a "Wet/Dry Vac". It does *not* come with a wet filter. In fact even if you go to their website (www.WorkshipVacs.com) you won't find a wet filter for *this* vacuum. On their site (or Amazon) you'll find a wet sleeve but notice the warning "NOT for use with WORKSHOP® products".

They do say that a "small amount of liquid can be picked up without damaging the filter".

The motor is very powerful and produces excellent suction. As a heavy duty dry vacuum it does an excellent job.

Another reviewer said "where are the attachments?", well *if* you want / need attachments they can be purchased separately. The "odd" diffuser attachment is meant for the exhaust port so that it muffles and diffuses the exhaust rather than blowing a powerful stream of air (this port would also be used if you wish to use this as a blower rather than a vacuum).

The manual is rather brief and more or less unnecessary (other than perhaps teaching you how to remove the filter for the first time - which is not obvious!).

There are no rollers, on the plus side it sits on the floor very stable, on the negative side this means it doesn't move around as easily. The power cord is quite long (this is a nice touch as other wet vacs come with very short cords which I have to use an extension cord with).

Overall this is a good durable design. The lack of a wet filter is the only serious flaw.

Some people may love this vacuum, others may find it useless - it all depends on your needs and preferences.

5This Vac SUCKS!!! Which is JUST what you want it to do! :D
By Pie Grrrl
Being a petite woman who runs a landscape firm, I don't have the energy at the end of a 12 hour work day to haul out the Dalek-sized shop vac that we have in our garage. Therefore, my poor F150 only gets as clean as a whisk broom can manage, under most circumstances. During the few times that I need to haul an actual HUMAN around with me vs. gravel, manure, mulch, plants or cut boughs for Christmas, I usually am faced with embarrassing explanations and justifications as to "Why" I need a blanket to cover my passenger seat.

No longer! This is the perfect "personal size" Wet/Dry vac and I keep it securely locked in my tool box of the truck. Having at least 4 different extension cord lengths with me at all times, it's no longer a hassle when I'm at a job site to hook up to power and vacuum out the never-ending debris that is associated with my job. :D Now, when I need to drive an employee, client or friend around, I don't suffer the embarrassment of having them sit upon fresh pine needles or geranium petals.

I even had the chance to try the WET portion of the vac out, when a leaky Styrofoam cup filled with unsweetened ice tea burst when I removed it from the cup holder. It removed every last bit of moisture with it's powerful suction; so much so, that even taking a dry paper towel to the mat's surface yielded no residual moisture.

Compact, easy to operate, nice accessories for any kind of area, this Wet/Dry vac is perfect to maintain a civilized interior to one's vehicle.

4power
By JJ
powerful. works really well and has a lot of power. took awhile to figure out the parts and pieces as it came with parts not listed in the manual. have not tried it as a wet vac yet but impressed with its dry vac capabilities and holds a lot of debris. I see no reason why it will not excel as a wet vac.
