Makes gardening jobs a little easier

I had taken down a wood fence with very thick posts, this saw was able to cut the posts down to size to easily fit in the trash containers. I have carpal tunnel and was looking for an electric saw instead of my regular manual saw. This one worked out perfectly. It is light weight compared to other models, it is easy to insert the blade in different configurations, it also came with a storage case. The saw easily cut down several tree trunks on a hillside. I am a relatively small person, 125 lb 5'2", I have never used a power saw before this one. I was a little concerned about being left-handed but it did not seem to matter. I should of bought one of these sooner. The directions show how to hold the tool to avoid injury in case of kick back. I can't say enough positive things about this saw. The blades need to be purchased separately, it seems that this saw accepts many different brands of blades. I held various saws to check comfortability amd weight at the store before opting for this model.

very pleased with the performance of the saw. Used the tool during my bathroom renovations, and was very handy to use in tight spaces.
I have cut drywall, PVC pipes, and plumbing in difficult areas. Well worth it.

Blade holder has design flaw....will break!!!

First of all, I always by Dewalt when it comes to power tools. have had great success with them. this is my second Saw and returned for the same problem both times. the square piece inside that holds the blade snapped off while cutting a metal window frame the first time. the second it was cutting a tin window frame. the piece broke clean off the rod that takes the blade in and out.
the saw works great, but there is definitely a deign flaw in the piece that holds the blade. if it was just one broken saw I would understand, but two in the same place? there is something wrong.with this design.
