Bosch multi tool MX30EL-37

I just recieved my new Bosch multi tool. Very,very nice tool. It will be used along with my 10 year old Fein[model #636 II]. This is the only multi tool that comes as close to the Fein I have that has no vibration at all. I was tired of always having to tighten up what ever blade or sander piece I was using. I even used a bolt and box wrench to try and keep blades tight. I tried a new Fein and my arm just buzzed after only 30 seconds of holding the tool while it was on. [ I tried 3 of them all the same ] Love the quick hold/release mech for the blades/sander. The tool box is great, just as nice as a Festool if not a little nicer. Don't know why the bad reviews on the box? Lots of room for the tool[ built in spot] and great storage box for the blades and sanding products. Also has a built in spot to keep it in place in the main tool box. Also has extra room in left corner of main tool box for other items you may want to store with the multi tool. Nice strong handles on tool box. You can carry it vertically or horizontally. Tool is also quiet compared to others I have tried. Even other Bosch multi tools. This one is assembled in Switzerland. Bought mine from Tyler tool. Came with free shipping for a total of $269.99. Has 3 amps of power, oscillates at 1.4 degrees left to right = total of 2.8 degrees. weighs 3.7 pound and a speed range of 8,000 to 20,000.

I can't believe I went years without an oscillating tool. It's particularly useful for cutting into walls, floors, ceilings, etc., anywhere that a small, punge blade is needed. Personally, I don't fund the sanding attachments much of a value (though they would be if I needed to get into corners). I used several carbide blades when cutting plaster walls and ceilings. I bought bosch carbide blades, and thought the Versa-Tool MB3A3B3C3D1H1I1J was a good value pack. Round blades are quite useful.

I can see why they call this a Multitool. You can do a lot of things with it. Plenty of power, tool bits are easy to change and Bosch has a large variety of different tool bits to choose from. I tried the Fein Multitool and the bits are too hard to change. The flip lever on top of the unit takes a pretty strong hand to be able to change bits, and you won't be able to do it with gloves on. I tried the Makita unit and it did not have enough power to do grout in a tile shower. Once you learn how to use this tool, you will be amazed as to what it can do in tight places. I would highly recommend this Bosch unit. The overall storage box is excellent. The small bit box inside needs some work. You take your multitool and cut out all the partitions and make it an open box, and then you have it. Oh Wow you have Fun with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wear Ear Muffs and Eye Protection!!!!!!!!!!!!The only thing it won't do is polish your wheels, @ least not yet.
