Confessions of a Small-Eared Gentleman

I was dubious when I found these in a complimentary overnight flight kit from Jet Blue, but to my surprise, these work great. The plugs are quite rigid when you first roll them. That sounds uncomfortable, but it eases insertion. Within a few seconds, though, the plugs expand and body heat makes them soften, so they end up making a tight and comfortable seal. I wear them almost every night now.

My wife and I have used these plugs for many years. We both used them when anchored in the harbor of a yacht club in Trinidad because a disco was very near and the music was very loud. We also used tem when sleeping in our condo in the Dominican Republic because the music of a disco was very loud and traveled easily into our bedroom in the quiet night air. And she has used them nightly because of my snoring.
These are very good earplugs. We had trouble putting them in our ears until we watched a demonstration by someone from 3M on YouTube explaining the best way to install the plugs, any foam plugs, in your ears. So easy when you know how to do it.
200 seems like a lot, but then you don't feel that you have to use, reuse, and reuse again the same plugs.
Each pair of plugs come in its own little package, which helps insure they stay clean until you are ready to use them.
If you are looking for effective earplugs, these should be considered.

I've been using these for years since I am easily disturbed by noises as I try to sleep. Highly recommended. Very comfortable and filter very well indeed.
