Best $20 spent in Home Improvement

I had some badly damaged walls after removing wallpaper. I was very frustrated because I am absolutely terrible at applying mud and was certain I was going to pay a ton to have someone do the skim coat. This product and process of rolling on the mud was excellent! I never though I could skim coat a wall!

Couple of tips to make the skim coat great.

Add enough water to the mud to make it the consistency of thick pancake batter.
Mix very well.
Keep the trowel clean and wet at all times. I had a bucket of water and rag in hand while skimming.
Keep wiping down the trowel with each pass.

The walls look outstanding and I did it with Magic Trowel. Amazing product.
