Don't get a plastic grill brush!

I recently learned that hundreds of people accidentally ingest the bristles from cheap grill brushes! http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm6126a4.htm This one is stainless steel and won't do that. For cleaning, get the grill real hot before cooking, use this brush then go back with a pair of tongs holding a damp cloth. super clean! People thing the black on the grates add flavor, it doesn't. It's called creosote and you don't want it on your food.

Amazingribs.com rec'd but not that great for Weber Kettle

I bought this brush because Amazingribs.com had it highly rated. It does perform well in that the bristles don't fall off easily (a major benefit and important feature for ANY brush). However, on a Weber Kettle it just does not do the job. Only the top quarter of the bristles really get any contact. After two uses those bristles are already bent up pretty good. I imagine this brush would work better for a gas grill or a large rectangular grill where you don't have as much of a lip and more grill surface area.
