Pieces too wide for the holder!

I'm returning this immediately. Most of the pieces of soapstone were broken, and one small piece jammed up in the holder on the first use. Can't get it out at all, so the thing is basically unusable.

Better than chalk

The soapstone works better than traditional chalk has a nice crisp line. The holder makes writing easy and keeps my hands clean.

Good tool

It works as it is supposed to to mark metal. The holder could be built better, but it is just a standard design. If you take care of your tools it should last a while, but if you throw them around and don't watch out for them, this may start to loose parts and not hold up well.
