Built like a truck

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. This fence weighs a ton and is built to the old Delta standards. Couldn't be happier.

The fence is solidly built and worth every penny. If you plan to use this fence with a home built table with flush mounted T-track, you will need to swap out the T-bolts. The heads of the supplied 5/16 T-bolts are too wide to fit in a typical T-track (such as Rockler). One inch T-bolts will work but only engage a couple threads in the nuts, while 1 1/2 inch T-bolts are too long (you won't be able to rotate the cam levers to tighten). Ideal length is about 1 1/4 inch, which don't seem to exist, so you'll have to cut down a couple longer T-bolts.

This is no mousy drill press fence. Very adjustable and very strong. I really like the zero centered measuring tapes. Makes it very easy to drill holes quickly and accurately from each end without measuring and marking. World class drill press gear. Very highly recommended!
