The Jabhat al Nusra movement claimed responsibility for the yesterday's attack in Hermel, saying that it is a retaliation to Hezbollah's involvement in Syria.
In a statement released on Twitter, the Lebanon branch of the Al Qaeda-inspired group said that it wanted to hit Hezbollah's stronghold so that the party "can re-evaluate its position in Syria".
Hezbollah has been fighting in Syria for months to support Bachar al Assad against the rebellion.
The Jabhat al Nusra had also claimed responsibility for the blast that hit the same town on January 16.
