4For the price, good for small jobs
By Carl R. Gibson
I ordered on Wednesday and chose 1 day delivery for $11.99 and got it mid-day Thursday. Box was in great shape. Some of the parts that have bare metal showing are greased to prevent rust during storage. Some alcohol and a rag takes care of removing it very quickly. Wen suggests a little wax on those parts to prevent future rust. It seems like a very solid little drill press especially for the price. There were a few problems:

1. The belt cover is sheet metal and was a little warped.
2. 2 of the 3 screws holding the laser unit on were loose and when I tightened them, I discovered that one hole was stripped.
3. The pulleys needed to be cleaned as they had metal filings in the V grooves.
4. The laser beams are adjusted by loosening the screws on the sides and turning the brass barrels by hand. The barrels are rather tight so it is a little tricky getting them aligned exactly if you are a perfectionist as I am. Another problem is that the beams are thicker than they should be. I solved that problem by setting mine so that the point at which the back edge of the beams intersect is the center point of the bit contact.

I strongly suggest that you invest in a 4" drill press vice (search Amazon - they have quite a few and a cheap one should be just fine). DON'T try to hold your work with your hands. I once nearly had part of one fingertip taken off doing that. Also, ALWAYS have the press bolted or clamped to the work bench - this will prevent damage to the press, your work and YOU.

Overall, I am satisfied with this little tool, especially for the price.

4Good for what it was made to do.
By Happy Valley Ranch
Machine is what it was meant to perform. It is not a high level wood shop precision drill but did not expect it to be. Shipped very promptly and assembled easily.

1piece of junk
By jro
Ruined $100 of material. No level of precision.drill bit wobbled, was off center. Rotating the bit the tip didn't even stay in the same spot.
second depth guide was so cheesy and inaccurate. A little chunk of tin that shook when operating.
ok if you just need holes but otherwise a waste of money.
