Shop Fox bench drill press
By G. Santos
This is a good tool for average/common uses. It is reasonably well made but has a bit too much play for fine more precise drilling. You simply cannot assume that things are square. Check, lock it down and check again. Milling using an X-Y vise can be done but you will be working at the outer limits of this press.

You Get What You Pay For
By Alan Dale Daniel
Warning: This Drill Press is very UNSTABLE. The motor and head are very heavy compared to the weight of the base. You MUST mount this press to a much heaver bench or base of some type.
The press is not well made. There is a lot of slop in the head and the spindle. The threads are not cut well - in fact the thread cuts are very poor. For run of the mill drilling operations it will work, but you would be much better off spending a bit more and getting an accurate drill press. The press does run quietly and appears to be smooth in its operation.
Putting the machine together is very hard considering the size and lack of complexity of the unit. If one follows the instructions the "clamp shoe" will never be put in. One must lay the press on its side to put the clamp shoe in (it sits loose in a cavity) and then put the base onto the head while it is still laying on its side with the cavity down.
I am sorry I purchased this machine.

Outstanding for woodworking purposes
By MDH
Radial drill presses were reviewed on finewoodworking, prompting me to buy this one. Right out of the box, the first test hole was 90 deg in both axes. Plus, it has a 17" reach, people! For the price, I consider this an amazing bargain, and suspect most complaints don't take this into account.
