Makita got this one right!
By J. Michel
Over the years I have gotten some really great tools from Makita (1100 series planer for one) and some real lemons (24 volt tools and chop saw, bleck).
I actually bought 2 of these from Canada (EH) before they were available here in the states.
They are great with a capitol "G". I bought another tool to get the 3amp Li-Ion batteries and charger.
For my use as a locksmith they have been a godsend. I have one with a SA-1 chucked in for ferrous metals and the other with a SA-1NF for brass and aluminum.
It is like having meat eating dremel tool on steroids! I can move holes over like slicing through soft butter with a hot knife.
Way better then the Dewalt roto zip style since you have that Jimmy Durante nose to hold onto for control like a normal corded die grinder.
Much more effective. If one breaks I will order another tomorrow.

great power very glad I bought it
By Isidore J. Mahon
I was so surprised by the power it works better then a corded Makita die grinder I bought years ago I'm really happy with my 18v Makita tools I'm a contractor and use then constantly and I have most available tools and a few of some it's been about 7 years still great tools will buy more.

This tool is great! Just like my other Makita tools.
By Jeff Cornell
I bought this tool thinking I would use it every once in a while. I do Locksmithing for a trade, I honestly find myself using this tool on a daily basis for something. It has great power, and it is hard to believe it is battery powered.
