4A solid tool but needs more air than I can provide!
By T. Morris
It's rugged and much more solid than the lower priced models but I can't use it. I paid $15.67 for this tool and bought it specifically for small jobs like replacing the exhaust system on my truck. It'll get into the small spaces where the clamps are hard to reach and where my electric is too large. It's definitely a major step up from those $9.99 tools and mine came with one 3" wheel!

However, there are some issues with the description in what's not stated about this tool. One is that the recommended air tank size is 12 gallons. The other is that the manufacturer states on the packaging that the recommended horsepower for your air compressor should be no less than 3HP. Both these points are a problem if, like me, you're using a portable air compressor. Mine are rated at 1.5HP with a 3 gallon tank and 2HP with a 5 gallon tank and neither will do it on this tool. I get 5 seconds before my compressor kicks on and about another 5 seconds before there's not enough air pressure to continue cutting. I'll either have go to a larger compressor or add a larger tank. I should have known that anything requiring a steady stream of air like a sander, saw or cutter requires a large air tank or a high HP on the compressor. It's not worth returning this for what little I paid but it's pretty much useless unless you're cutting thin metal that you could easily cut with snips or are looking to spend some bucks to add some heavy equipment to your garage.

If you're using it for short bursts it's still a problem but, if patient, you can cut with it. If you plan on doing some long cuts or cutting some heavier metal you could burn out a compressor motor. I would not have purchased this if the ratings had been stated but I will likely add a larger tank for about $40 because I was going to do so anyway. Bottom line... tool is great but the description isn't so it would be 5 stars for the tool, 3 for the description and an average of 4.

4Did the job.
By Bob
It's a great cutting tool but you must have a minimum of 90 PSI. Even with that I could only cut for about 15 seconds at full speed. Wait a minute and cut again. I also found it easier to use when I removed the cover shroud , which was fairly easy to do. Shroud or not, safety glasses or goggles are an absolute must. Don't use the tool without it. Finally, buy extra discs. They're inexpensive and you'll need them.

4Good product
By Serafin
It cut just fine for me no problems. I did need a bigger compressor then the one I had put no biggy.
