Pro Kit My A#$!

I'll make this short
Pros - Yes, it does what it is supposed to do.
Cons - You have to take out a 2nd mortgage to get what you actually need for almost anything you would like to do. I paid over 300$ for this as a Christmas present for my girlfriends mom and thinking since this was the "PRO KIT" It would be good to go. (she collects and polishes agates, she was absolutely obsessed with this thing) Turns out I needed to buy an additional 50-60$ in pads just to do that. Guess I should have bought the "SUPER ULTRA MEGATRON DELUXE SHAM FREAKING WOW KIT" instead.
Also, the durability of the device seems somewhat questionable, I would be cautious using this heavily or for extended periods of time - the pads are solid, but given how much everything costs and that the shell of this thing is plastic I would be terrified of having to replace parts on this thing.

disappointed

I bought this for grinding & polishing gemstone rough....I have not used it yet because all the info on DVD is about cleaning tools....I received another DVD from website & it was on jewelry but mostly about working with metal. I was totally impressed with the demos I saw on TV but don't feel there is enough info on this subject that comes with this expensive purchase!

A really great invention.

This machine is fantastic, it has been a great addition to my jewelry crafts. It is clean and quiet. I will be buying additional discs in the future.
