hobart 770119 welding flux

i had a crack on the base of my drill press,it was a large crack and the base is made of cast iron so i decided to braze the broken pieces together ,i had brazing rod but no brazing flux ,so i found it at a good prize at amazon and it has worked good for me .

powdered brazing flux

As a metal sculpter I find that many welding supply shops in my area do no carry powdered flux for brazing. Some shops only carry flux coated brazing rods. I would rather bare rod and control the amount of flux I use and am quite happy with this product.
