A Great Value!

Once I got the *right* kind of (thicker) metal blades. I was able to rip through sheet metal like a hot knife through butter! Since it can also use 5/8 center hole blades. You can get much cheaper alternatives at your local home improvement store. 4" Diameter with the guard on. Up to 5" Diameter with the guard off. As to how the blades attach. The instructions are a bit bland if you're a beginner. You *must* attach the blade guard (without the clear cover) before you attach the blade. The clear cover guard comes off when you turn it down using your right hand. But, if you use a bit of common. You'll be up and running in no time!

More power that I thought 7 amp 11,000 rpm with multiple stepped flanges and adapters , it holds many generic cut off grinding discs /small tile saw wheels / threaded cup grinders or wire wheels (you need to check RPM limits on the wheels ) . Some of the plastic guards / vacuum attachments look like they wont last long . The switch works well either momentary hold it or lock on position . Almost flush with the body so it hard to "bump" on by accident
also two side holes for a thread 90 degree handle .
It would hold up well as a thin trim saw for a contractor as the motor vents are almost a foot from the spindle to reduce dust ingestion . The housing can take some throwing around , on tile jobs , floor molding scribe ,
It shows it as a Bosch product assembled in Mexico . Much better quality than cheap generic 4" angle grinders .
Mine came with a tile and wood disc ,guards , Vac attachments . There is no real metal plate or foot for depth control
like a skill saw so its all free hand cutting . Its between a real saw and angle grinder ,it shines at auto body metal cutting .
I would recommend it to someone who has almost every tool .

Not a zip saw

I ordered this because I saw a similar product on TV, turns out this not the same saw as in the photo. I'm pefectly OK with factory reconditioned items, but this is bigger than the hand held saw I thought it was. You can not operate this saw with one hand, you have to hold on to the auxiliary handle to properly use it. Still, it does a nice job of cutting wood or tile with the 2 blades included.
