Very Good Set

As a novice, this is my first new tool set. I've survived on hand me downs until now. After much review I purchased this set. I just finished putting up a fence with it, and it did a great job. The battery life is good for the drill, but only lasts a few minutes with continuous use of the saws. Recharging is quick. The drill is fantastic. Light is bright. Reciprocating saw is my first, but seems to work very well as far as I can tell. You'll need to buy your own blades. The circular saw leads a little to be desired, but it is still a good saw. Overall, I am pleased with the tools and would purchase this set again.

great set of tools

My neighbor, on glimpsing my 4-tool combo kit in the corner of my living room, delightedly exclaimed, "Oh! You have the baby dyke starter set!"
I collapsed in laughter. But really, I like to be prepared. And while it's true that for extensive cutting you really want a corded saw, sometimes you just need the ease and flexibility of cordless. My dad has borrowed my tools. My husband has borrowed my tools. My neighbors have borrowed my tools. This kit has gotten me through a kitchen remodel, building a loft, wreaking havoc on decades of untamed ivy that was trying to tear my chimney down, and various other tasks. These DeWALT tools have lasted and performed without complaint.

We have used DeWalt tools on the R.F.B. Home Builders job site for over 12 years. Once a drill was left out on a window sill it sleeted during the night, next morning drill had a 1/2 inch of ice on it. I took it home dried it out regressed it and we still use it today,
now that is DeWalt quality. Another time on job site the 18 volt skill saw slid off roof put a dent in the hood of my truck picked it up only broke the battery, replaced that and keep on using it. DeWalt gives you professional quality tools at a affordable price, You will not be disappointed with any of the DeWalt tools I own most every 18 volt tool that DeWalt makes and they all preform to my expectation,
