5Great tool!
By etc6849
If you're looking at oscillating tools, the MX25E should be your top choice.

Bosch makes the tool in Malaysia and the accessories are made in Switzerland and are of very high quality. I was refreshed to finally find an oscillating tool that was affordable and NOT made in China!

Comparison to the Porter Cable PC250MT:
I initially used the PC250MT by Porter Cable: big mistake! The PC250MT allows for tool-less replacements of the blades. However, the blades like the tool are all made in China and are of very low quality. You cannot use other brands of blades on the tool either. To give you an idea about blade quality: after very few cuts in 3/4" oak, the Porter Cable (Black and Decker) blades start to smoke and burn the wood.

I've made many similar cuts so far with the hardwood blade included in this Bosch set and the blade is still very sharp! I can also tell you that the Bosch tool seems quieter compared to the Porter Cable and better made overall. The MX25E allows you to easily change the brushes should they go bad, the PC250MT does not have easily accessible brushes.

PROS:
See the above comparison to the PC250MT. This tool is vastly superior to the PC250MT. Has the best quality blades and accessories I've seen; they are made in Switzerland.

Bosch includes an adapter so that blades from other manufacturers can be used (although I suspect the Bosch branded blades are some of the best available).

Swivel cord is a nice touch.

The hardwood blade cuts through 3/4" oak very fast (compared to cheaper oscillating tools).

Heavier and better built than other osicallating tools I've used (such as the Porter Cable PC250MT).

Easy access to replace DC brushes.

Compatible with thousands of other accessories from other manufacturers (via the included adapter).

CONS:
The case insert seems kind of cheap compared to the rest of the case. I'm not sure if or when it will wear out, but I think it may. I do like the rest of the case and it's very nice.

To those that consider the lack of a quick change blade system a con, consider this: the quick change mechanism on the PC250MT means you can't use any other manufacturers blades. Also, a quick change mechanism adds extra height to the tool.

3Surpurb tool, LBoxx was an disapointment
By D. Rice
This last Christmas I received the Bosch Oscillating tool as a gift from my wife (the package with the soft-sided case) soon after Christmas I saw the same tool with the LBoxx and more accerrories and really wanted this set. So I packaged the outfit my wife purchased back to Amazon and bought the MX25EL-37. It arrived today (I was like a little kid opening up the box from Amazon) only to be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the tool and accessories are great but the LBoxx was a cheap after thought. The LBoxx looks very rugged from the outside and looks like the outside of it could take some abuse, but Bosch really screwed up the inside design of the box. This box has all kinds of room but Bosch decided to make a cheap blow molded insert(that can be lifted out) to hold the tool inside the box that is about 1/32" thick! And they have the tool laying at a 45 degree axis with the sides of the box wasting so much room you could use for other things in this box. The LBoxx is huge. (OH AND DID I TELL YOU THE INSERT COME BRAND NEW CRACKED RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX! I have decided I like the tool and the box enough I am keeping it, but I am going to have to spend another 30 dollars to buy what is called "pick and pluck" foam to go inside the LBoxx to protect this tool. If Bosch wants to, they can keep their extra nickel that they spent on the insert. The tool is great otherwise.

5Get this instead of battery-run models
By Mtnbkrmark
Years ago I bought the battery powered Bosch oscillating tool, and have many problems with its lack of power and it permanently ruining the batteries. I recently purchased this 2.5amp plug-in model, and wish I had this the entire time. It has WAY more power than the battery operated model. Now cutting out old grout or cutting into oak trim is easy.
