4An Excellent Tool by Bosch (*But Buy an Extra Battery)
By M. Hernandez
I'm a handyman, contractor & novice electrical guy. Almost all my tools are Milwaukee, including 11 M12 tools, but I decided to buy the Bosch 12V Max Pocket Driver instead of the M12 screwdriver. I bought THIS tool to have at least another tool on the Bosch 12v platform. The complaints about battery life are true, the battery provides 4-8 minutes of moderate-to-serious cutting or sanding, (no worse than Ridgid's 12v JobMax) I also own an M12 Multi which I use predominantly with an XC battery that gives 15-20 minutes of work & roughly 10 minutes w/ a 'standard' M12 battery. The speed dial on this is 'fluid', I've accidentally changed speeds in mid cut which can be a little dangerous, so mind the dial, while the M12 has detents making it almost impossible for that to happen. Frankly, I like the feel & finish on this tool better than the M12 overall. The problem here is that this tool and others like it, (usually cutting tools), is that they are "high-draw", and suck way more juice than say...a drill or impact driver. I'm hanging on to the hope that Bosch will release a 'Higher Capacity' 12v battery, however, there's no love lost here because I really like the way this tool operates & feels. As for the rapidly draining batteries, the solution is simple, (albeit a bit co$tly), *buy a couple.of extra batteries*...that's what I did.

5Got the job done.
By Peter
I needed something that could cut a screw in a very tight space. This worked perfectly and was comfortable to use.

5Works great with BAT414
By Toby
Held off buying this due to reviews, but looked at the reviews again and see they are all battery-related. Bosch has released at least 2 generations of 12V batteries that fit since the originals so make sure you don't get the original series of 12V battery or life/power will be poor.
