Prone to jamming

I got this to use on my mini-mill as a low-cost starter vise for low-precision work. Desirable features were the size, which fits the mini mill's table very well, and the v-notches for holding round stock. Finish is rough but acceptable given the price. The worst problem is that the handle tends to jam after it is tightened with more than moderate pressure.
