Surprising

I am usually weary of Black and Decker products but at this price I decided to give it a try. I liked the tool free blade release, the shape of this tool fits great in your hand. the wood blade cut very clean without chipping. I looked at these in the past and didn't think I needed one but since I have had this tool it has been a life saver. The overall quality seems excellent for the price and with a two year warranty you cant go wrong.

I was hesitant of ordering the 2.0 amp model in fear it wouldnt be powerful enough for my use, ( I'm a contractor and pretty abusive on tools due to demand and everyday use), but was looking for an alternative to $100+ oscillating tool, so tried this, since I've had other black & decker tools for the home that lasted forever. I have used this tool for plunge cutting trim, tile, shoot I even have cut the end sections of treated 4x4's to make room for post covers and this little guy has performed very well. My favorite thing to use this for is cutting the shims of after hanging doors, leaves it clean and the shims not split, versus my old scoring with a utility knife and breaking it off method where the shim routinely splits. My main reason for choosing this tool over the others was the fact black & decker doesn't charge an arm and leg for their accessories, ( in this case all the cutters, etc..), so far VERY impressed & the 2 amp version has done everything I've asked it to.

This tool does as expected. Great for taking out molding for laminate flooring. Used it to sand down an old dresser for refinishing as well. Very handy.
