Spring coil right, but too wide

Nobody seems to make the spring with the same diameter, but a narrower band of spring steel.
We made it work, but it is not quite the right size.

Extra spring for drill press

I now have my 50 year old drill press working agin. It was coverd with oil, dirt, rust and who knows what else.
