If you're watching the Super Bowl on TV, don't look for a shot of Mayor Bill de Blasio sitting in a luxury box.
De Blasio said he will be watching the game, commercials and all, on television with his family.
The mayor said that while he enjoyed attending events leading up to the Super Bowl, he and his son won't be making the trip to New Jersey Sunday.
De Blasio said he decided to take the game in like millions of other New Yorkers who would have to shell out between $500 and $2,500 for a ticket from the box office.
Put the internet to work for you.
