I have found this tool to be well constructed and of high quality, especially considering the price. (I bought mine at Walmart for $8.88.) It comes with two bits (slot and Phillips). The head can be locked, allowing the tool to be used as an ordinary screwdriver. This is handy if the batteries die or the motor doesn't have enough torque for the job at hand. Because it uses alkaline batteries, you can leave it in the drawer for months without worrying about the batteries discharging, as rechargables often do. I occasionally need to unscrew 1.5" deck screws to remove a plywood lid from plywood boxes. I then replace the screws. Recently I was able to remove and replace 34 of these screws on one set of AA alkaline batteries. That gives a feel for how long the batteries last. For smaller screws or softer material, I imagine the batteries would last much longer.

It's been almost 3 months and so far i am happy with this screwdriver even though i use it occassionally. I use it for all small home jobs like where assembling/disassembling is required like aquarium lamp cover, electronics, wall sockets etc. and it fit everything that i tried to accomplish.
The speed is fine for me and although screwdriver's bit holder seems slightly askew to me, it still does its job perfectly. But when i try to put it on lock and turn, i feel friction which kind of defeats the lock's purpose but the workaround is just using regular screwdriver to tighten or release screws.
I like that it is cordless and to me, the fact that it is battery operated has no tangible disadvantage because every time i finish job i pull battery storage compartment with batteries to prevent corrosion and possible quick discharge as Black & Decker service representative recommended.
I would sure recommend this screwdriver to home DIY'ers, electricians and computer technicians.

Fits good in my hand and I like the locking mechanism to use it when the batteries die. I only gave it three stars because I think there should have been storage for the two bits provided. These bits are really easy to lose and a little extra space in the tail by the batteries wouldn't have been too much to ask. It isn't very powerful, but I didn't expect much as it was under $15.
